GDIN has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Korea Brazil Society (KOBRAS) on July 28 to support the entry of Korean innovative tech enterprises into Brazil and bolster bilateral industry cooperation. Building on GDIN’s ongoing strategic expansion in Latin America—marked by the consecutive launch of its "Korean Valley" hubs in Paraná State, Brazil (Ivaiporã, Londrina, and Maringá)—this partnership unites GDIN’s deep-tech scaling infrastructure with KOBRAS’s extensive private-sector networks established since 2011. Together, the two entities aim to accelerate localized Proof-of-Concept (PoC) validation, joint venture (JV) formation, and commercial deployment across Latin America’s largest market.
Under the agreement, GDIN and KOBRAS will combine their public and private infrastructures to identify promising growth-stage innovators, share market intelligence, and facilitate direct matchmaking with local corporations, municipal governments, and research institutions. The two organizations will also jointly host tech forums, executive seminars, and CEO roundtables to build continuous capital and operational corridors between South Korea and Brazil.
Broadening the collaboration scope, the partnership will support high-growth deep-tech sectors—including AI Transformation (AX), Digital Transformation (DX), Biotech, and AgTech—while extending into consumer-facing verticals such as K-Content, Beauty, and FoodTech.
